  • "Hydrafacial"
  • "Laser Hair Removal - Full Leg"

Price

Pricing Strategies:

1. Fixed Price (Most Common):

  • Same price for all clients
  • Enter exact amount: 250.00
  • Example: "Anti-Wrinkle Treatment - Ā£250"

2. "From" Pricing (Consultation-Based):

  • Enter starting price: 150.00
  • In description add: "From Ā£150 depending on areas treated"
  • Adjust final price during appointment booking

3. Package Pricing:

  • Create separate treatment: "Anti-Wrinkle 3-Session Package"
  • Enter package price: 650.00 (vs 3 x Ā£250 = Ā£750 individually)
  • Savings = loyalty incentive

4. Area-Based Pricing:

  • Create multiple treatments:
    • "Anti-Wrinkle - 1 Area" (Ā£120)
    • "Anti-Wrinkle - 2 Areas" (Ā£200)
    • "Anti-Wrinkle - 3 Areas" (Ā£250)
  • Clients choose during booking

Price Formatting:

  • Enter as decimal: 250.00 not Ā£250 or 250
  • System auto-formats with currency symbol
  • Supports up to 2 decimal places

  • Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
  • Dermal Fillers
  • Facials & Skincare

Deleting Treatments

Delete vs Deactivate

| Action | When to Use | What Happens | |--------|-------------|--------------| | Deactivate | Stopped offering service | Hidden from new bookings, history preserved | | Delete | Created by mistake | Permanently removed, affects existing appointments |

How to Delete

  1. Navigate to Treatments
  2. Find treatment
  3. Click Delete (trash icon)
  4. Confirm deletion warning
  5. Treatment permanently removed

āš ļø Warning:

  • Deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • Affects all appointments using this treatment
  • Prefer deactivating over deleting for audit trail

When to Delete:

  • āœ… Test treatments during initial setup
  • āœ… Duplicate entries created by accident
  • āŒ Real treatments you've stopped offering (deactivate instead)

šŸ’” Pro Tips

Treatment Naming Conventions

Be Consistent:

  • āœ… "Dermal Filler - Nasolabial", "Dermal Filler - Lips", "Dermal Filler - Cheeks"
  • āŒ "Nasolabial Filler", "Lip Augmentation", "Cheek Filler"
  • Consistency helps clients navigate your catalog

Use Parentheses for Variations:

  • "Anti-Wrinkle (3 Areas)"
  • "Anti-Wrinkle (Full Face)"
  • "Hydrafacial (Standard)"
  • "Hydrafacial (Deluxe)"

Pricing Psychology

Charm Pricing:

  • Ā£249 feels cheaper than Ā£250
  • Ā£199 vs Ā£200
  • Use for price-sensitive treatments

Premium Pricing:

  • Round numbers signal luxury: Ā£500 not Ā£499
  • Use for high-end treatments

Tiered Pricing:

  • Good: Ā£150 (basic)
  • Better: Ā£250 (standard) ← Most popular
  • Best: Ā£400 (premium)
  • Anchoring makes middle option attractive

Common Mistakes to Avoid

āŒ Duration too short:

  • Forgets cleanup time
  • Creates back-to-back stress
  • Clients feel rushed
  • Solution: Add 15-30 min buffer

āŒ Price too low:

  • Undervaluing your expertise
  • Can't cover costs + profit
  • Hard to raise later
  • Solution: Research competitors, know your worth

āŒ Vague descriptions:

  • "Makes skin better" tells clients nothing
  • Solution: Specific benefits, expected results, ideal candidates

āŒ Too many treatment variations:

  • "Botox 1 Area", "Botox 2 Area", "Botox 3 Area", "Botox Forehead", "Botox Crow's Feet"...
  • Creates decision fatigue
  • Solution: Consolidate to 3-5 main options

ā“ Common Questions

Q: How many treatments should I create? A: Start with 5-10 core services. Add more as needed. Most clinics have 15-30 total.

Q: Can I have different prices for new vs returning clients? A: Create two treatments: "Botox - New Client (Ā£200)" and "Botox - Returning (Ā£180)". Or adjust price during booking.

Q: Should I create a treatment for consultations? A: Yes! Create "Consultation" treatment, duration 30 min, price £0 (free) or £50 (consultation fee). Allows you to block calendar time.

Q: Can I charge deposits via the treatment? A: Not automatically. Create appointment, then in payment field enter deposit amount. Record remaining balance in notes.

Q: What if treatment duration varies greatly? A: Use average duration. Adjust individual appointment times during booking if needed.

Q: Can I hide price from clients? A: Price shows in practitioner's view. For public booking page (coming soon), you can hide prices and show "POA" (Price on Application).

Q: How do I handle package deals? A: Create separate treatment: "Anti-Wrinkle 3-Session Package - £650". Or use discount code at checkout (POS system).

Q: Can I upload treatment photos? A: Not to the treatment itself. Upload before/after photos to client profiles linked to specific appointments. Treatment catalog is text-based.
