Publishing Workflow

Current: Manual Posting with Reminders

How It Works:

  1. Schedule posts on Content Calendar
  2. Set reminder notification (email or push notification)
  3. On scheduled date/time, you receive reminder
  4. Manually copy content from calendar
  5. Post to Instagram/Facebook/etc. yourself

Why Manual?:

  • Social media platform API restrictions (Instagram doesn't allow third-party auto-posting without Business Account + Facebook Page)
  • More control over final posting moment
  • Review content one last time before posting

Reminder Settings:

  • Email reminder: 15 min before scheduled time
  • Push notification (mobile app): 15 min before
  • SMS reminder (coming soon): 10 min before

Future: Auto-Posting (Coming Soon)

Planned Features:

  • Direct Instagram posting (requires Instagram Business + Facebook Page connection)
  • Auto-publish to Facebook Page
  • LinkedIn auto-posting
  • Twitter/X auto-posting
  • Queue system (if multiple posts scheduled same time, staggers by 15 min)

Timeline: Expected Q2 2025

šŸ’” Pro Tips

Batch Scheduling Strategy

Monday Morning Content Batch (30 minutes):

  1. Generate Content: Use Content Studio to create 12 social posts (one per weekday Ɨ 3 weeks)
  2. Schedule on Calendar:
    • Week 1: Educational content (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
    • Week 2: Promotional content (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
    • Week 3: Mix of testimonials and practice highlights
  3. Set Times:
    • Instagram: 7:30 AM (commute scroll)
    • Facebook: 1:00 PM (lunch break)
    • LinkedIn: 8:00 AM Tuesday/Thursday

Result: 3 weeks of scheduled content in 30 minutes

Content Mix Formula (70-20-10)

Apply to Calendar Visually:

  • 70% Educational (Blue posts): Should dominate calendar
  • 20% Promotional (Green posts): Sprinkle throughout
  • 10% Practice Highlight (Yellow posts): 1-2 per week

Check at a Glance: If your calendar is mostly green (promotional), rebalance towards blue (educational).

Posting Frequency Guidelines

Optimal Posting Frequency by Platform:

| Platform | Recommended | High Engagement Times (UK) | |----------|-------------|---------------------------| | Instagram | 3-5 posts/week | 7-9 AM, 12-1 PM, 7-9 PM | | Facebook | 2-3 posts/week | 1-3 PM weekdays | | LinkedIn | 1-2 posts/week | 8-10 AM Tue-Thu | | Twitter/X | Daily (7/week) | Throughout day (high frequency) |

Use Calendar to Visualize: If Instagram column has <3 posts/week, add more.

Seasonal Planning

Plan Seasonal Campaigns in Advance:

Example: Summer "Glow Up" Campaign (March planning):

  1. April: Educational posts about summer skin prep
  2. May: Promotional posts for "Summer Ready" packages
  3. June: Testimonials from happy summer clients
  4. July: Reminders about pre-vacation treatments

Schedule all 4 months in one sitting (March) using Content Calendar.
