Delete your data from Aestheticc
Email us at privacy@aestheti.cc and we'll remove your Instagram and WhatsApp connection data and messages within 30 days, and reply to confirm. Clinical records we're legally required to keep are retained separately. If you messaged a clinic rather than run one, see below.
If you are a clinic using Aestheticc
- Disconnect your accounts in Aestheticc. For Instagram and Facebook, go to Settings > Social Accounts and press Disconnect next to each account. For WhatsApp, go to Settings > WhatsApp and press Disconnect, then also remove it in the WhatsApp Business app: Settings > Account > Business Platform.
- Remove Aestheticc from Instagram and Facebook. If you connected through Instagram, open Instagram's Apps and websites settings (on a computer: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access), select Aestheticc and press Remove. If you connected Instagram through Facebook, or for a Facebook Page or Facebook ads, open Facebook Settings > Business Integrations, select Aestheticc and press Remove. This withdraws the access you gave us on that platform.
- Ask us to delete your data. Email us at privacy@aestheti.cc and we'll remove your Instagram and WhatsApp connection data and messages within 30 days, and reply to confirm. Clinical records we're legally required to keep are retained separately.
Disconnecting does not delete your messages. Steps 1 and 2 stop Aestheticc sending, receiving or publishing for your accounts straight away, and disconnecting in Aestheticc erases the access tokens we held for that account. The messages we already hold stay in your Aestheticc inbox until you ask us to delete them in step 3.
If you messaged a clinic that uses Aestheticc
- Ask the clinic. Your messages to a clinic on Instagram or WhatsApp belong to that clinic; we store them for it. The clinic can mark your client record for deletion in Aestheticc. The record is then kept for 8 years, in case the clinic must keep it, and then permanently deleted together with the Instagram and WhatsApp messages linked to it (see section 9 of our privacy policy). Messages sent before you became the clinic's client may not be linked to your record, so for those, email us as well.
- Or email us. Send privacy@aestheti.cc the clinic's name and your Instagram username or WhatsApp number. Within 30 days we will delete the data where we can, or pass your request to the clinic and tell you we have.
