Reports Dashboard

The Reports page replaces the old Analytics page with seven focused reports. Each one answers a specific business question. All reports share the same date range selector and automatically compare against the previous period.

Navigate to: Dashboard → Reports

Quick Start

  1. Go to Reports from the sidebar
  2. Pick a date range (Week, Month, Quarter, or Year)
  3. Click through the report tabs to see different views of your data

All tabs update when you change the date range — set it once, then browse freely.

Report Tabs

Revenue

What you earned and where it came from.

  • Total revenue with percentage change vs. previous period
  • Average transaction value
  • Daily revenue breakdown chart
  • Revenue by treatment table — shows which services generate the most income

The revenue by treatment table shows treatment-level revenue specifically. Total revenue (shown at the top) may be higher because it includes products, tips, and other non-treatment income.

Bookings

How busy you are and how reliable clients are.

  • Total bookings with period comparison
  • Completion rate (based on past appointments only — future bookings are excluded)
  • Status breakdown: confirmed, completed, cancelled, no-show
  • Daily booking count chart

Payments

Where money comes from and what's still outstanding.

  • Revenue split by payment method (card, cash, bank transfer)
  • Outstanding balance total — subtracts any deposits or partial payments already made
  • Refund totals for the period

Staff Performance

Per-practitioner performance breakdown:

  • Appointment count
  • Completion rate
  • Cancellations and no-shows
  • Revenue generated

Useful for identifying your busiest practitioners and spotting gaps in schedule coverage.

Treatment Performance

Which treatments are popular vs. which are profitable.

  • Booking count and POS revenue side by side for each treatment
  • Surfaces the gap between what clients book most and what actually earns the most

Client Metrics

Who your clients are and whether they come back.

  • New clients in the period
  • Returning clients
  • Total active clients
  • Returning client ratio (returning / total active)
  • Top 10 clients by appointment count

Cancellation & No-Show Analysis

How much business you're losing to cancellations and no-shows.

  • Cancellation count and rate
  • No-show count and rate
  • Estimated lost revenue
  • Period comparison to track whether your no-show policy is working

Date Ranges

| Range | Covers | Compares against | |-------|--------|------------------| | Week | Last 7 days | Previous 7 days | | Month | Last 30 days | Previous 30 days | | Quarter | Last 90 days | Previous 90 days | | Year | Last 365 days | Previous 365 days |

Gotchas

  • Completion rate only counts past appointments. If you've just opened for the day, your completion rate reflects yesterday and before — not today's unfinished bookings.
  • Outstanding balance accounts for deposits. If a client paid a 50% deposit, only the remaining 50% shows as outstanding.
  • Revenue by treatment does not include product sales, tips, or other non-treatment income. Those are in the total revenue figure at the top.
