Manual Payments

Record cash and bank transfer payments directly in Aestheticc without going through Stripe. These appear in the client's full payment history alongside card payments.


When to Use This

  • Client pays cash at the appointment
  • Client pays via bank transfer and you want it tracked
  • Any payment collected outside the app that you want in the client record

What You Can Record

You can optionally link a manual payment to a specific appointment, which updates the appointment's payment balance.


Duplicate Prevention

If you submit the same amount for the same client twice within 60 seconds, the second request is blocked with a DUPLICATE_PAYMENT error. This prevents accidental double-recording from a slow connection or double-tap. If the payment is genuinely a separate transaction, wait 60 seconds and record again.


Fees

No platform fee is charged on manual payments. They are record-keeping only — no money moves through Aestheticc.


Payment History

Manual payments are marked with the payment method (Cash, Bank Transfer, etc.) and appear in the client's payment timeline. They are included in reporting alongside Stripe payments.


Refunds

Manual payments cannot be refunded through the Aestheticc refund flow — they were not processed through Stripe. Record any adjustments manually.
