Photos & Documentation

Aestheticc handles two types of visual documentation: client photos (before/after) and injection mapping (annotated treatment diagrams). Both are stored in tenant-isolated cloud storage — no cross-clinic access is possible.

Client Photos

Photos are attached to client profiles and appointment records. They build a chronological timeline of each client's treatment history.

Privacy protections built in:

  • EXIF data is stripped on upload (removes GPS coordinates and camera metadata)
  • Each photo is linked to the client's signed consent form, proving they agreed to photography
  • Storage is isolated per clinic — your photos are never accessible to other businesses

Accessing photos:

  • From a client profile: scroll to the Photos section
  • From an appointment record: open the appointment and select Photos

Photos display in date order so you can compare results across multiple treatment sessions.

Face Mapping (Injection Mapping)

The injection mapping tool lets you annotate a face diagram with precise injection points during or after treatment. It is designed for use on mobile as well as desktop.

Placing Injection Points

  1. Open an appointment and select Face Mapping
  2. Pinch to zoom in on the area you're working on (1x to 5x)
  3. Tap or click to place an injection point marker
  4. Drag existing markers to reposition them
  5. Select a product from your active batches
  6. Enter units or volume for that injection point

Coordinates are stored as image-relative percentages, so markers stay in the correct position regardless of zoom level, screen size, or if you rotate the image.

Anatomical Guidelines

Toggle the overlay to display:

  • Midline — vertical centre reference
  • Thirds — horizontal thirds of the face (forehead, mid-face, lower face)

These help with symmetry checks and accurate placement documentation.

Rotation Controls

Use the rotation buttons to flip the diagram 90 degrees. Useful when working with a rotated reference image or photographing from a non-standard angle.

Product Linkage

Injection points are linked to products selected from your active batches. This connects your clinical documentation to your batch tracking and compliance records automatically.
